May Edochie’s laywer explains her co-parenting with Yul, clarifies Judy Austin’s role
Emeka Ugwuonye, the legal representative of May Edochie, has addressed the co-parenting arrangement between May Edochie and her estranged husband, Yul Edochie.
In a recent Instagram post, Ugwuonye emphasised that co-parenting is not just a moral obligation but a legal requirement for the estranged couple, given their shared children.
According to the lawyer, effective co-parenting demands cooperation and communication between May and Yul Edochie, despite their personal differences.
He revealed that the couple is co parenting effectively, stating that Yul is providing financial support for the children’s education and having unrestricted access to them.
Ugwuonye attributed the negative online reactions to ignorance about what co-parenting entails, stressing that both May and Yul have no choice but to work together for the sake of their children, as it is a legal requirement.
He also addressed speculations about Judy Austin’s involvement in the children’s lives, stating that she has no legal relationship with them currently. However, if she marries Yul, she would become the children’s stepmother.
The lawyer concluded by dismissing public opinion as irrelevant, emphasising that the law governs co-parenting arrangements, not public perception.
